Beverly Owens and Jeff Price Speak with Wolfbane's The Howlin' Wolf!

***Some Colorful Language Ahead***

JP - "[The most exciting part of the process] is the chance to work with Bev and Bryan who I think are two of the funniest people in this area and they just make me want to be funnier on stage as a comedic actor. And professionally, with Wolfbane productions, was the opportunity to sit down with the writers and pick their brains.

BV - "Any time you're able to do something [with] a blank slate and decide who you are as a character and make choices that will work with the people in the audience."

Beverly Owens (Lorraine/Ensemble) was last seen in Wolfbane’s production of Monty Python’s Spamalot. Previous Wolfbane credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, MacBeth, and Dark of the Moon among others. Some of her favorite roles have been ‘Gary Coleman’ in Avenue Q and ‘Tanya Garrett’ in Bare. She would like to thank Dustin Williams and the entire Wolfbane family as they are a constant inspiration.

During the day; Jeff "Big Papa" Price is the Director of Sales at Bentley Commons Senior Living Community. Jeff first began working with Dustin Williams in 2002 (we were babies!) in The Rocky Horror Show and Little Shop of Horrors and to this day contends that his legs look better in fishnets than Dustin's. He was recently seen playing Starveling/Moonshine in Wolfbane's A Midsummer Night's Dream. In addition to his stage work in the Greater Lynchburg Area, he serves as President Elect for the Virginia Theatre Association. Recent roles include Charlie in August Osage County, Ben Franklin in 1776, Eduord Dindon in La Cage Aux Folles, and Dave Bukatinsky in The Full Monty. It is always a joy to work with Wolfbane and specifically with my dear friend Bev Owens who challenges me daily to use profanity in new and cutting edge ways.
