Grab your green and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Wolfbane style with their award-winning Beers and Ballads event on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Historic Downtown Appomattox. This pub crawl style event will journey through Frozen Meat Locker (Patsy’s Catering), Baines Books and Coffee, Babcock House, and Rail Yard Restaurant spanning from 6:00-10:00 PM. It will be a true Irish celebration of live music, delicious food, mini performances from Wolfbane, trivia, karaoke, and, of course, beer! It is sure to be an event to remember – or remember later through photos.
This year marks Wolfbane’s 4th annual Beers and Ballads. Your $60 ticket includes live entertainment, beer flights from Bold Rock Cider, Devils Backbone Brewing Company, and Third Street Brewing Company, a special gift from Chaos Mountain Brewery, and heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by Patsy’s Catering, Baines Books and Coffee, and Babcock House. Proceeds from the event will support the upcoming production of “The Hannah Reynolds Story” at Appomattox Court House National Historical Park on April 6 and 7, which chronicles the tragic last days of Hannah Reynolds, an enslaved woman who became the only civilian casualty in the Battle of Appomattox Court House.
