The Hannah Reynolds Story
The Hannah Reynolds Story chronicles the final days of Hannah Reynolds, an enslaved woman, who was wounded in battle on April 9, 1865. She died three days later - a free woman - in a U.S. field hospital. Experience the story of Hannah, her family, and her owners through an original one-act play, written and produced by Appomattox's Wolfbane Productions.
All performances will be outdoors, bring your own chairs or blankets for seat. PERFORMANCES ARE FREE.
This show is possible through partnership between the American Civil War Museum-Appomattox, Appomattox Court House National Historical Park, and Wolfbane Productions.
