Providing women with what they need

when they need it.

The Feminine Project (TFP) is a local group providing women in our region with free & accessible feminine products. We work to end local “period poverty” by providing women with what they need, when they need it.

Cash donations are always welcome and are used to buy products for the community. Make your donation anytime online by clicking the donate button below! Menstrual products can be donated Wednesday-Sundays at Wolfbane Productions (call/email ahead of your drop-off).

Wolfbane Productions Launches "The Feminine Project" to Help Community

LYNCHBURG, Va (WSET) — Wolfbane Productions has launched a new initiative called "The Feminine Project." For Giving Tuesday on November 29, they are asking for donations of pads, panty liners, tampons, among other items. Then they'll give it to community groups to help those in need. Emily found out how it works and all about a new play coming in December.

Fighting period poverty and stigma: The Feminine Project initiative gaining momentum in Appomattox

“In 2021, one-third of our population in the U.S. had to choose between going to work or school and having their period, or having to stay home. And that’s just in the United States,” [said Gabrielle Mirabella, development director of Wolfbane Productions]. “What I loved about it [The Feminine Project] initially was how simple this is, but how vital this is, that you’re literally just there to collect period products and give them right back to the community. It’s very powerful. Period poverty is such a real thing in our country, especially in Appomattox.”
