Introduction to Voice Lessons with Dr. Jeremy Craft

Each student chose a 25-minute slot where they were introduced to the basics of a one-on-one voice lesson.

Private, one-on-one coachings with NYC professionals are now available through Wolfbane Productions. Perfect for College and High School Auditions, Professional and Local Auditions, Scene Study, Monologues, Musical Theatre Belt, Operetta & Legit Singing, and more.

PACKAGE DETAILS: Location for all coachings will be at Wolfbane's DEN.

  • #1 Picking the Piece (60 minutes): Choose your piece(s) with your personal instructor.

  • #2 Work Session (60 minutes): Work through your monologue, scene or song with your instructor. All materials must be fully memorized for this coaching.

  • #3 Performance (60 minutes): Presentation or mock audition with instructor and members of the Wolfbane Staff. Parents, siblings and up to three guests are welcome to watch the presentation. Feedback will be given.

WOLFBANE SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

Wolfbane enters the classroom with High School and College-level speaking engagements! Let us bring our experience to you with a variety of lectures and Q&A events, led by working theatre professionals, covering every aspect of our current industry.

Wolfbane believes in its community and the importance of arts education. We bridge the gap between our strong local arts community with the larger theatre industries in New York, Chicago and all over the country.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Teachers will be asked to keep one class period open for our guest speakers. During this time, Wolfbane company & staff members will engage with your students through interactive experiences based on their specific position. Subjects include:

  • Vocal Techniques for Choral Groups and/or Musical Theatre

  • Proper Vocal Exercises

  • Breathing Techniques

  • Warm-Up

  • Music Theory

  • The Business of Acting

  • Casting and Audition Technique

  • Improvisation

  • Acting for the Camera

  • Musical Theatre Performance

  • Stage Management

  • Set Design

  • Costuming Design and Techniques

Prior to the class, our speakers will provide teachers with a detailed outline of their prepared curriculum. The speaker will also bring any materials (i.e. handouts, props, etc) necessary for the class.

It is our hope that these classes provide students with real-life skills and strategies needed for a theatre career, as well as offering young artists the potential to become involved in our professional company. We recommend students use these engagements as an opportunity to ask questions and create professional connections that will lead them closer to their desired career in professional theatre.

As Wolfbane continues to grow, we aim to support the young artists across our region using our resources, professional connections and expertise. We are passionate about the future of theatre, and we cannot wait to see our local student artists create that future!
