Guest Services Specialist (Part-Time)

Location: Lynchburg & Appomattox, VA
Schedule: 20–25 hours per week
Compensation: Starting at $17/hour

Wolfbane Productions is seeking two enthusiastic, dependable Guest Services Specialists to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever they're needed.

We're looking to hire:

  • Day Shift: Approximately 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

  • Evening Shift: Approximately 5:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. during performances

At Wolfbane, no two days are the same. One moment you may be assisting patrons with tickets, the next you're restocking concessions, welcoming volunteers, answering the phone, merchandising a new product display, or preparing the lobby for opening night. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to every guest

  • Sell tickets, concessions, memberships, and merchandise

  • Assist with group ticket sales and patron outreach

  • Answer phones and respond to emails professionally and promptly

  • Coordinate and communicate with front of house volunteers

  • Help prepare and maintain attractive, welcoming theatre spaces

  • Assist with cleaning, organization, and general venue upkeep

  • Restock concessions and merchandise inventory

  • Track merchandise inventory and assist with ordering and displays

  • Help create positive experiences that build lifelong Wolfbane patrons

  • Work closely with the marketing, production, and administrative teams

  • Pitch in wherever needed to help the team succeed

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has exceptional customer service skills

  • Is comfortable with sales and talking to people

  • Communicates professionally in person, by phone, and by email

  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team

  • Is organized, dependable, and takes initiative

  • Can comfortably multitask in a busy environment

  • Has a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Has reliable transportation and is comfortable working in both our Lynchburg and Appomattox locations

  • Can frequently lift up to 50 pounds

  • Takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming spaces

  • Not afraid to get dirty and loves the outdoors

  • Comfortable learning new software platforms and Google Suite applications

  • Loves theatre and enjoys helping create memorable experiences for guests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Retail, hospitality, food service, or box office experience

  • Sales experience

  • Experience working with volunteers is a plus
